Marrakech, Morocco – Africa Cyber Defense Forum (ACDF) and Morocco Trust (MorTRUST) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate and partner to pilot the CyberGen Program to train 100,000 cybersecurity professionals across Africa. This collaboration will train the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, address the skills gaps and shortage to meet the needs of governments and the private sector across Africa.
The MOU witnessed by Direction Generale de la Securite des Systemes d’Information (DGSSI) and Agence de Développement du Digital (ADD) will allow the mobilization of cybersecurity ecosystem in Africa.
Morocco Trust in collaboration with Africa Cyber Defense Forum will ensure the program’s development, training of trainers, provision of internationally recognized certifications and cybersecurity awareness across Africa.
