Anthony is a Senior Manager, Cybersecurity & Resilience at Ernst & Young (EY) leading the Cybersecurity practice for East Africa. He is a seasoned Cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in financial services.
He has been involved in the provision of Cybersecurity Advisory, Consulting and Audit services to many of the leading blue-chip companies, as well as key government institutions across the East African region, covering some of the following areas: Cybersecurity Transformation; Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance; Data Privacy & protection, Vulnerability & penetration testing, IT Risk assessment; data security & High-value assets (HVA)/ crown jewel assessments; Cyber Resilience; business continuity management/planning (BCM/BCP); security operations center implementation; IT security audits amongst others.
Anthony is also regularly involved in conducting various training programs for Board Members, Senior Executives, and other Senior Stakeholder groups, covering the aforementioned areas, amongst others. He is also a regular speaker at various Industry and Multi-sectoral conferences and seminars on matters relating to the topics.
He holds a Master of Science Degree in IT from Strathmore University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology. He is a CISA, CRISC, ITIL, and CSX certifications holder. Anthony has served the ISACA Kenya Chapter as the Vice president where he mentors and trains young cybersecurity enthusiasts under the ISACA CSX program.
